Helen Zhang

Helen is currently an investment analyst at Calvert Impact responsible for underwriting debt and equity impact investments, monitoring the portfolio, and engaging with investees on their financial and impact performance. Prior to joining Calvert Impact, Helen was an investment banking analyst in Goldman Sachs’ San Francisco office where she focused on mergers and acquisitions and financings for healthcare companies. Helen has also worked as a healthcare investment banking analyst at Citi and China International Capital Corporation (CICC) and as an equity research associate at CITIC Securities. During high school and college, she conducted and published leukemia, cardiology, and materials chemistry research. Helen's experiences in finance and academia have made her very passionate about introducing more evidence-based rigor into impact measurement and management to ensure the mission alignment of impact investing. Helen received her BA in chemistry from Columbia University.
